Caring medical, surgical and dental care for dogs and cats.

We know how hard it can be to take your dog or cat into your veterinarian’s office, so we want to make your life easier. We come to you! We provide quality, compassionate veterinary care for your cats and dogs in the comfort of their own home.

Our doctors take the time to listen to owners and discuss their concerns. They conduct complete physical exams and appropriate tests to diagnose and treat illnesses. Radiology, ultrasound and laser therapy services are provided as needed. Acupuncture treatments are also available with Dr. Burns.

Wellness exams for dogs and cats are offered with any necessary vaccinations, microchips and/or parasite control.

Our mobile clinic is equipped for dental cleanings, digital radiography and surgical procedures that require general anesthesia. The doctor and veterinary assistant focus entirely on your pet and closely monitor his/her blood pressure, oxygen and pulse during all procedures.

Dr Bonnie Burns-Oberlander

Dr. Burns-Oberlander was raised in a household filled with pets including dogs, cats, birds, mice, snakes and hamsters. Science was always her passion in school and she decided in the 2nd grade that she was going to be a doctor.  After graduating from high school in Maryland, she moved across the country to attend college at U.C. San Diego and graduated with a degree in Biology.   She was accepted to the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1996.  Dr. Burns returned to San Diego to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery in 1997.  She worked as a veterinarian in Fresno and Monterey, California before moving to Eugene with her husband and daughters in 2004.  After working for a practice in Santa Clara for six years, Dr. Burns-Oberlander decided to start her own mobile practice.  She really enjoys the time that she can spend with her clients and patients in their homes.  It is such a great way to practice veterinary medicine.

She and her husband, Jonathan, love raising their girls in Eugene.  They also enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, boating and beach combing.

Helpful Hints

We want to make your house call experience as easy as possible. We will make every effort to arrive within 10 minutes of your appointment time. Please have your cat in a secure room, such as a bathroom, so we can start his exam when we arrive. Searching for him under beds or behind furniture will only add to his stress.

Please also schedule your appointment on a day that we can pay full attention to your pets. We want them to be happy and forget that they are even having a physical exam. Distractions in the house could make them nervous.
